Suriya is aiming to amaze the audience with his upcoming period fantasy. He will allegedly appear in six different looks throughout the film. As a result, he went through various physical transformations for the movie. Last month, on the occasion of Diwali, the actor gave a sneak peek into one of his looks. It appears that it was his warrior avatar in the film, as he had a furious look on his face and an army behind him.
Kanguva will mark Suriya’s collaboration with celebrated filmmaker Siva. Sources close to the development have reported that the director needs more time to make the movie. The team is planning on changing its release date window as they will not be able to finish the post-production work by April. Moreover, Siva has created a VFX-heavy film that needs more time. As a result, the makers are focusing on making a visual spectacle by taking their time and not rushing into releasing it. The film might be out in the second half of 2024.
