Prabhas’ Salaar: Director Prashanth Neel promises ‘perfect blend of action and emotion’
Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire blends action and emotion, recounting the tale of childhood friends. Released on December 13, 2023, the first song, ‘Sooraj Hi Chhahon Banke,’ mirrors the characters’ friendship narrative. Prashanth Neel disclosed that the film is an emotional journey delving into the bond between the two friends.
Additionally, in his recent interview, he said, “Salaar Part One is a completely different world; the action in the film is massive. There are strong characters, but above all, it has an emotional story—the story of two friends and their journey into the world of the Khansaar. I wanted to make an action-packed drama film with a story driven by emotions and friendship, and Salaar has given me that opportunity”.
Furthermore, he added that the bond between the two characters will be portrayed by Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, respectively. Neel expressed his desire to establish Khansaar in Salaar as one of the most violent worlds known to humans yet intricately woven with emotional depth.
The movie has a runtime of 2 hours and 55 minutes. It will be intriguing to observe whether the film, filled with action, will make history at the box office.
