Akshay Kumar‘s Welcome To The Jungle has been much anticipated since the actor announced its commencement on his birthday this year. Welcome To The Jungle a.k.a. Welcome 3 is the third installment of the much loved Welcome franchise. Recently, the actor took to his social media handles to announce that the film has officially gone on floors in Mumbai.
Ahmed Khan will be directing the film and produced by Feroz Nadiadwala and Jyoti Deshpande. The entire cast of seasoned actors and talented actresses, was present for the kick-off. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez amongst other.
Akshay Kumar begins Welcome 3 shoot, calls it ‘absolute madness’
Akshay Kumar took to his official Instagram and X account to share a behind-the-scenes video, giving fans a sneak peek into the action comedy scenes. The clip captures a training scene featuring Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi, with Lara Dutta playing a tough trainer. Disha Patani and Krushna Abhishek can also be spotted in the background, adding to the excitement.
In his post, Akshay Kumar expressed his enthusiasm. He stated, “Absolute madness of masti begins as we start the shoot of #WelcomeToTheJungle. Will need your wishes for this rollercoaster full of all things fun and crazy 🙂 #Welcome3.”
Reports suggest that Welcome To The Jungle will see Arshad Warsi and Sanjay Dutt stepping into the iconic roles of Majnu and Uday Bhai. Anil Kapoor and Nana Patekar originally played these roles. Speaking about the film, Arshad Warsi shared his excitement, “The scale of Welcome 3: the cost, the climax, is unreal. It is an insanely larger-than-life theatrical film that I will be a part of. It has me, Akshay Kumar, Sanju (Sanjay Dutt), Paresh Rawal, and lots of other people.”
With a slated release date of December 20, 2024, Welcome 3 promises to be a Christmas treat for fans. It will offer a blend of action, comedy, and the trademark madness that the Welcome franchise is known for.
