Hrithik Roshan‘s highly anticipated movie, Fighter, unveiled its character posters and release date recently. Siddharth Anand is the director of this action film, produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures.
This Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor starrer will be the first film in a planned aerial action franchise. Fighter is set to release on January 25, 2024.
Later this week, the film’s teaser is expected to release, followed by a trailer early next month. As per reports, Fighter will release in the 3D and IMAX 3D formats.

Fighter to release in 3D and IMAX 3D format
As per a close source, Siddharth Anand has mounted the film to be an unforgettable theatrical experience. The source revealed, “It as an aerial action entertainer for a big-screen experience, aiming to transport the audience into the world of this adrenaline-thumping film. Fighter will release in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on the eve of India’s 75th Republic Day – January 25, 2024.”
The design of the action sequences and jets aims to make an impact in both 2D and 3D formats. The source further added, “Siddharth wants to take things a notch higher with Fighter and the premium format in addition to the usual release in 2D is a step in that direction. The team has also conditioned the background score and music for the Atmos & IMAX format, providing a holistic theatrical experience.”
The COVID-19 pandemic delayed the pre-production of the film, which was initially set for release on September 30, 2022. Real-life Indian Air Force cadets have also worked for the film. Ramon Chibb, an ex-army officer and writer, is the co-writer of the film along with Siddharth Anand.
Director Siddharth Anand reportedly has a 50-day marketing campaign for Fighter. This will begin with an action-packed teaser, followed by song numbers, and a theatrical release. While Fighter will be the first Hrithik Roshan film to release in 3D, for Deepika Padukone, it would be the second feature film after Padmaavat.
