Bobby Deol’s character in Animal has no dialogues
The teaser of Animal was a hit among fans after they saw Ranbir Kapoor in a never-seen-before avatar. Bobby Deol was seen at the end of the teaser, but his intense look raised curiosity around his character in the film. Fans speculated that he might be playing a cannibal.
As per recent reports, Bobby Deol’s character has no dialog in the film. He will be a mute villain and create terror without even saying a word. Just like how every antagonist has a certain peculiar trait, this will be Bobby Deol’s character’s quality.
In a recent interview, Bobby talked about his character in the film. He said, “Something different and really excited to see that I look different and you wanna know what I am doing in that shot but as I said I can’t tell you. I am definitely eating something in it. Chewing something.”
The film’s premise frames a brutal underworld filled with bloodshed. Animal follows a strained relationship between a father and a son. However, the dark, gritty, and violent nature of the underworld compels the son to turn into a psychopath. So far, fans have loved Rashmika and Ranbir’s chemistry in the films’ songs.
Animal will be released in five languages – Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The film underwent rescheduling from its original date due to pending post-production tasks, including VFX and dubbing. It will now be clashing with Vicky Kaushal’s Sam Bahadur in theatres.
Watch Animal in theatres on December 1, 2023.
