Pankaj Tripathi’s Kadak Singh to premiere on December 8, 2023, on ZEE5
Kadak Singh promises to take the viewers on an enthralling journey through the complexities of identity. The trailer introduces Kadak Singh, a Joint Director at the Department of Financial Crimes, grappling with retrograde amnesia. As the storyline unfolds, Kadak Singh finds himself in a hospital, surrounded by four conflicting accounts of his past. All in all, it challenges the very fabric of his reality.
Adding depth to the storyline is Sanjana Sanghi, who assumes the role of Kadak Singh’s daughter. However, appearances can be deceptive, and her character promises unexpected twists in the plot. Additionally, Parvathy Thiruvothu, who plays the role of a nurse, adds an air of mystery as she appears to be more aware of things than meets the eye.
The anticipation surrounding Kadak Singh is set to culminate on December 8, 2023, as the film is scheduled to premiere on ZEE5. As mentioned earlier, the trailer released in IFFI 2023. After the showcase, Pankaj Tripathi spoke about his character, “Kadak Singh is unlike anything I have played before. He is an unusual character, and it was such a joy to portray such a layered personality.”
He further added, “Additionally, I got to work with some incredible talent, including Tony Da, Parvathy, Jaya, and the young and enthusiastic ones like Sanjana. Everyone’s combined energy and passion transformed the film from the pages to the screen. Also, it was exciting to launch the trailer at IFFI last night and see the audience’s reaction to the trailer for the first time. We are also screening the film here at IFFI so we are excited for that too.”
