Fukrey 3, the much-anticipated third installment in the riotous friendship comedy franchise, unfolds with a myriad of laughs and unexpected twists. The film was released in theatres on September 28, 2023.
Fukrey is directed by Mrighddep Singh Lamba and produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment. This sequel however takes a departure from its predecessors without the actor Ali Fazal, who played a crucial role in the initial two films. Nonetheless, Fukrey 3 boasts a stellar cast including Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi, Pulkit Samrat, and Varun Sharma.

What happens in Pankaj Tripathi starrer?
Fukrey 3 takes a fresh narrative turn with Bholi Punjaban’s newfound ambition to become the head of Delhi’s Water Resources Department. Backed by the conniving water mafia lord, Dhinra, Bholi’s political goal is set to become a reality. The catch? She ropes in the ‘fukras’ – Hunny, Choocha, Lali, and Panditji to ensure her victory.
However, Choocha accidentally steals Bholi’s campaign spotlight by obviously being his quirky self. Seeing this as an opportunity Hunny finds his next venture which is to turn Choocha into Bholi’s rival.
The story takes an unexpected turn when Choocha prematurely reveals his candidacy, leading to a comedic escapade to South Africa in search of diamonds to fund their campaign. This was suggested by Bholi’s bodyguards.
They look for diamonds and find none in all 10 days spent there. That’s when they realize that they have been duped by Bholi Punjaban herself. The bodyguards’ betrayal was a diversion to throw the fukras off the election trail. However, Choocha is hit with Deja-chu and they end up finding a diamond.
Following this they get discovered and have to run away during which Choocha gulps the diamond. While they are resting, a series of unexpected events lead to Choocha and Hunny’s new unique ability. Now they were able to turn their body fluids into gasoline. Given the quirkiness of their storyline, this instantly becomes a way to fund their campaign.
How does Fukrey 3 end?
The climax of Fukrey 3 reaches its peak as Dhingra hatches a diabolical plan. He intends to use Delhi’s water, even though he is aware of the potential harm to the already suffering inhabitants owing to water scarcity, to create an unlimited supply of fuel by mixing it with Choocha’s urine and Hunny’s sweat. Dhingra doesn’t budge despite knowing the consequences.
A turning point comes when one of Bholi Punjaban’s bodyguards witnesses the casualties resulting from Dhingra’s actions. Refusing to be part of it he urges the fukras to escape. However, instead of fleeing, Hunny takes a bold step, recording a video about unity and rebellion sent to the public.
This ultimately leads to them getting kidnapped and tortured to give body fluids otherwise their friends will be killed. At this point, it seems like Dhingra has won. However, in the end, the public galvanized by the fukras and their plea for rebellion, breaks through the walls surrounding Dhingra’s water kingdom.
The film doesn’t end there as the fukras and Bholi set out to fuel a research center in Banglore. During the process of finding a way to replicate the abilities, the diamond exists Choocha’s body which leads to them losing their abilities.
Adding an intriguing twist, Fukrey 3’s mid-credit scene shows Zafar played by Ali Fazal, in a surprising cameo. Stranded on an island, he discovers the diamond in Choocha’s frozen stool. This scene hints at a possible sequel aka Fukrey 4.
