The legendary Indian actor Kamal Haasan is all set to collaborate after 36 years with the iconic filmmaker Mani Ratnam for the much-anticipated project KH 234 which is now titled, Thug Life. The film is about Rangaraya Sakthivel Naicker, a character deeply immersed in the criminal underworld. In the teaser, Kamal Haasan showcases his thrilling avatar as he explains the meaning of Yakuza, a Japanese term synonymous with gangsters.
The teaser sets the tone of the film in the South Tamil Nadu dialect as well as incongruous dialogs. It leaves one questioning the setting of the film, whether it’s in the past, future, or a fantasy world. As it is, this suspense seems to be the essence of Thug Life.
It also promises a star-studded cast, including Jayam Ravi, Dulquer Salmaan, Trisha, Abhirami, and Nasser. Additionally, with the likes of cinematographer Ravi K. Tiger 3
One of the most-awaited releases, this is the third installment in the high-octane Tiger franchise. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film is a part of the expansive YRF spy universe. It features Salman Khan as the unwavering and patriotic spy, Tiger, alongside Katrina Kaif as Zoya, his wife and a former ISI agent.
Returning to the franchise are Ranvir Shorey as Gopi Arya and Kumud Mishra as Rakesh Prasad Chaurasia. Additionally, Emraan Hashmi joins the cast as the villain, Aatish, who is driven by a relentless quest to destroy Tiger. Sam Bahadur is a biographical film on the life and career of Sam Manekshaw, the first Indian Army officer to be promoted to the rank of Field Marshal. It will celebrate his leadership during the 1971 war and his role in the creation of Bangladesh.
Additionally, the film’s ensemble cast includes Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, Neeraj Kabi, Edward Sonnenblick, and Zeeshan Ayyub.
