Kangana Ranaut’s latest film Tejas is struggling to take off at the box office. The film experienced a poor run over the weekend and recorded a shocking collection over the first 4 days.
Written and directed by Sarvesh Mewara, the film revolves around Indian Air Force pilot Tejas Gill. She is on a mission to rescue an Indian spy carrying confidential information while also battling with her tragic past full of haunted memories. Ronnie Screwvala produces it, and it stars Kangana Ranaut, Anshul Chauhan, and Varun Mitra, among others.

How much did Tejas earn at the box office on day 4?
As per reports, Tejas’ box office collection on day 4 was at USD 60 thousand only. The film had a disastrous opening with USD 150 thousand and almost no growth in the next two days with collections within the same range. With day 4 collections, Tejas’ total now stands at USD 510 thousand.
Fate of Tejas seems sealed as it’ll likely end its lifetime run with just a single-digit collection, becoming one of the biggest box office duds in recent years. The film was released on October 27, 2023, alongside Vikrant Massey’s 12th Fail. However, Tejas was not even able to collect half of what the small, independent film was able to. Reports also suggest that they have discontinued almost 50% of Tejas’ shows.
Though Kangana Ranaut has managed to stay relevant in the news over the years, she has not been able to tackle the box office since her last release Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015), which was a blockbuster. Except for her 2019 release Manikarnika, which was an average grosser, all her nine films have been flops.
While Tejas might be underperforming when compared to 12th Fail, it has done twice the amount of business than her last release Dhaakad (2022). Kangana Ranaut’s next film, Emergency, is slated for release next year.
