The trailer introduces Arjun Kapoor’s character, who ventures into a new town and stumbles upon the mysterious Bhumi Pednekar. Initially, the narrative hints at an intense romance blossoming between them, with Arjun’s character visibly taken by the woman he encounters at a regal bungalow.
However, as the storyline unfolds, Arjun’s character finds himself in a web of complexities. Entwined with another woman whose true identity remains shrouded in mystery. Additionally, the two protagonists are seen with a rugged and gritty demeanor. The trailer also offers tantalizing glimpses of suspense, romance, and the ominous suspect of murder.
In a recent interview with PTI, Arjun Kapoor spoke about the emotional depth of his character in The Lady Killer. He shared, “Lady Killer is something else. I have given a lot to that film. Mentally and emotionally, the film has been intense and raw for Bhumi and I. It is very real in that sense as a love story. That’s why I went on holiday after that. I shot for about 45 days for that film and went away on a break. I needed to get out of that space.”
