Rhea Kapoor Confirms Veere Di Wedding 2

In a delightful surprise for fans of the 2018 chick flick Veere Di Wedding, producer Rhea Kapoor has confirmed that the sequel to the hit film is officially in the works. The original movie featured an ensemble cast consisting of Kareena Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania.

Veere Di Wedding was directed by Shashanka Ghosh and produced by Rhea Kapoor, Ekta Kapoor, and Nikhil Dwivedi. During an interview with News18, Rhea Kapoor excitingly shared that Veere Di Wedding 2 is indeed in the pipeline. She expressed her commitment to delivering an exceptional sequel. Kapoor stated, “It will be very different, it’s not going to be what anybody expects.”

Furthermore, the producer emphasized that she didn’t want to embark on this project until she knew it would surpass the original. She also spoke about the film’s significance and her deep attachment to it, expressing her desire to recapture the same joy in creating the sequel.
