The anticipation for Sam Bahadur doesn’t stop at the poster release. There’s more exciting news in store for fans. It has been revealed that the teaser will be launched tomorrow, i.e., October 13, 2023. Moreover, the teaser will be screened during the India vs Pakistan World Cup match, which is scheduled for October 14.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, Sam Bahadur is a biographical drama that chronicles the illustrious life of India’s first Field Marshal, Sam Manekshaw. With a career spanning over four decades and five wars, Manekshaw’s contributions to the Indian Army are nothing short of legendary. As the first Indian Army officer to ascend to the esteemed rank of Field Marshal, his military acumen played a pivotal role in the 1971 Indo-Pak war, which ultimately led to the birth of Bangladesh.
All set to play the legendary man is Vicky Kaushal. In addition, the movie boasts a talented ensemble cast, including Sanya Malhotra. The movie also features Fatima Sana Shaikh, who will play the character of the former Prime Minister, Indira Gandhi. Aside from them, Neeraj Kabi as Jawaharlal Nehru, Edward Sonnenblick as Lord Mountbatten, Richard Bhakti Klien as Ambassador Keating, Saqib Ayub as Captain Attiqur Rahman, and Krishna Kant as Subedkar Gurbaksh Singh complete the ensemble.
