Pitchfork: Acclaimed slasher shocker hits DVD and Blu-ray today
Ah, the ’80s. That glorious time when so much formulaic fright fare was pumped onto video at clockwork intervals and we — if you did indeed grow up during this period — ate it all up. Good or bad, what made most ’80s horror stand out and hit with such impact was that it took its horror seriously and aimed to disturb and upset, not distract with flimsy comedy. Now, from Uncork’d Entertainment comes director Glenn Douglas Packard’s grotty and violent ’80s-inspired slasher shocker Pitchfork, a movie we previously pimped her during its theatrical and VOD premiere and a movie we’re pleased to continue to push now that it’s stabbing its way to DVD and Blu-ray. In fact, it hits today. Like, now!

While Hunter navigates a new place within his conservative family, a vicious creature from their past descends on the farm, putting the unsuspecting city kids in mortal danger.
