Canadian Horror Film She Who Must Burn Coming in October

Award winning Canadian socio-political horror film She Who Must Burn to be released October 11th

Maverick Canadian filmmaker Larry Kent invented the Northern indie feature film with 1963’s The Bitter Ash and has continued making provocative, confrontational films (1967’s High being a major, er, highpoint and 2005’s The Hamster Cage being a masterpiece of family Gothic) for the past half century plus. Now, in his early ’80s, Kent has made his most dangerous and upsetting movie ever, the blistering social horror movie She Who Must Burn.

After a hugely successful international festival run. She Who Must Burn will be available to rent or own starting October 11th on Dish Network, Cox, Charter, Verizon Fios, DirecTV, iTunes, Amazon Instant, Google Play, Vudu, XBox and more from Midnight Releasing.

Kent and co-writer Shane Twerdun have crafted a thought-provoking and violent horror story centered around the all-too-real battle between personal choice, state-sanctioned law and religious dogma. Not for the squeamish or easily offended, She Who Must Burn is a tough as nails movie made by an even tougher filmmaker who has never gotten the respect he has been long deserved.

Don’t miss this one. Trust us.
