Canadian horror film fest returns with new dates, new poster and new venue.
Venerable Toronto fright film institution Blood in the Snow Canadian Film Festival has just announced that it will return on November 24th to the 27th. This time, the fest – whjich celebrates its 5th year in operation – will also upgrade its screening space to the massive Cineplex Cinemas at Yonge and Dundas, right in the heart of downtown Toronto.
This is an exciting time for Blood in the Snow…. it has been so exhilarating to see the growth the festival has had in such a short time. says Festival Director and Founder Kelly Michael Stewart. Teaming up with Cineplex and moving to the most central location in Toronto was the next logical step for us. This represents a quantum leap forward in Canadian cinema and shining a spotlight on the high quality of films being made here.
Blood in the Snow (or BITS as its commonly referred to as) showcases the best in indie Canadian horror, cult, sci-fi and fantasy filmmaking, both feature length and short.
Early bird festival passes are only $75 and available here.
Individual tickets will go on sale later this fall for $13 and Cineplex Scene members will be eligible for Scene Points.
