Uncork’d Entertainment has blessed/cursed us with 5 copies of eccentric contemporary German exploitation guru’s Uwe Boll’s new number, writer/director Francesco Picone’s ANGER OF THE DEAD (based on Picone’s same-named short film), a zombie romp produced by Boll and starring a whole mess of Italian actors you’ve never heard of.
We do like that Boll is working with Italian artists and while we haven’t seen ANGER OF THE DEAD yet, we are fans of the two-fisted Boll and his brand of old school movie-making.
Here’s the synopsis:
In a world ravaged by a virus that turns people into cannibals, a pregnant woman named Alice manages to survive. Alice, in the company of two other men, strives to reach an island untouched by the plague. Meanwhile, a dangerous individual is on the trail of a mysterious girl, which causes Alice to realize that the zombies are not her biggest and only threat.
