John Carpenter and Sacred Bones Records add first US tour date.
Yesterday we reported that the great John Carpenter was not only on the cusp of releasing a follow-up album to his acclaimed 2015 solo music collection LOST THEMES, but that he had a selection of International live concerts booked.
Today Entertainment Weekly reported that Carpenter and his label Sacred Bones, had booked their first US show…in NYC!
EW’s Clark Collis writes:
|The famed auteur, whose directorial credits include Halloween, The Thing, and Escape From New York, revealed Wednesday on Twitter that he and his band will be performing his classic film themes as well as new work at the Playstation Theatre in New York City, July 8. Tickets for the show go on sale this Saturday at 12pm EST.”

The appropriately titled LOST THEMES II will be released April 15 on Sacred Bones Records.
