ATTACK ON TITAN, Shinji Higuchi’s ultra-gory feature length riff on Hajime Isayamas beloved Japanese manga and ensuing TV and video game series, is about to hit North American theaters in two, blood-spattered, mind-melting parts. The first hits tomorrow, September 30th and the second will follow on October 20th.
Already a box-office, er, titan in Japan, the film tells the story (controversially altered from the original Manga) of a future laid to waste by a race of Titans; gigantic, Godzilla-sized humanoids with no genitalia that like to crush and snack on human beings. As mankind walls itself up, living in terror of the massive killers, a gaggle of heroes decide to fight back
