Originally set to be announced this Friday at San Diego Comic-Con, the folks at genre label favorite Scream Factory were forced to reveal a trio of their surprise titles early thanks to a leak. Ahead of the date, they’re even dropping artwork on us. Check out the covers for highly anticipated Collector’s Blus of Sam Raimi’s Army of Darkness and Tales From the Crypt titles Demon Knight and Bordello of Blood.
All three are near and dear to many, especially Ernest Dickerson’s 1995 Demon Knight, which often feels under-appreciated outside of genre circles. That film and Bordello of Blood hit October 20th from the Scream Factory, with extras TBA. Army of Darkness is out October 27th. Art is from Paul Shipper. Extras on the 2-disc release are expected late summer.
If you’re headed to San Diego Comic-Con, Scream Factory will be present at the Shout! Factory panel on Friday, July 10th at 7:30 p.m. in Room 24ABC. Expect some announcements.
Shock will be down at San Diego, keep an eye on the site and Bookmark This Page for all updates from the convention.
