In terrific news, NYC-based indie horror legend Larry Fessenden and his filmography will be getting the Scream Factory treatment this fall. The Larry Fessenden Collection will pack in the filmmakers evocative, singular horror tales No Telling, Habit, Wendigo and The Last Winter, with many, many extras to come.
Scream Factory, and SF captains Ciff MacMillan & Jeff Nelson, announced the collection both on Facebook and this weeks Killer POV, the weekly podcast hosted by Fangos Rebekah McKendry, FearNETs Rob G and Elric Kane, owner of L.A.s Jumpcut Café (which hosts Dead Right Horror Trivia). Scream Factory previously released Fessendens latest film, the Chiller production Beneath, about a group of vacationing friends and the killer fish after them.
Fessenden, an actor and the head honcho of indie production house Glass Eye Pix (House of the Devil, I Can See You, Stake Land, Tales From Beyond the Pale) is oft-celebrated for his DIY, thoughtful films like 1996 lower east side vampire story Habit and 2006s eco-horror The Last Winter. The inclusion of 1991’s No Telling is a truly neat bonus.
You can see the Facebook announcement from Scream Factory, below., as well as listen to the Killer POV episode. If you havent listened before, Killer POV is a lot of fun and this episode in particular is a truthful look at how Scream Factory operates. The labels MacMIllan and Nelson are open and candid, and those who enjoy or support the label especially should get a lot out of it.
**NEW TITLE ANNOUNCE!** As we revealed today on Killer POV's exclusive podcast with us, we will be releasing THE LARRY...
