Writer-producer James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Slither) is keeping the cast announcements rolling on his upcoming The Belko Experiment, to be directed by Wolf Creeks Greg McLean.
Taking to Facebook this week, Gunn revealed Steve Agee (New Girl, The Sarah Silverman Program) Adria Arjona (True Detective), Sean Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy, Gilmore Girls) and Owain Yeoman (The Mentalist). In addition to his preceding complimentary remarks, Gunn of course revealed character details for the latest batch of performers.
Writer and actor Agee will play Belko employee Chet Valincourt, best friend to Sean Gunns Marty Espenscheid, a stoner cafeteria worker who has his own ideas about who is behind Belko. Arjona meanwhile will be playing one of the most pivotal characters in the film, Leandra Jerez, an American of Colombian descent who works as Barry Norris’s (Tony Goldwyn) Chief Executive Assistant. Yeoman will be playing Terry Winters, a British family man, whose relationship to his family at home versus the close friendships he has in Belko are set against each other.
The four join Melonie Diaz, John Gallagher Jr., Goldwyn, John C. McGinley and Michael Rooker in the tale of the American Belko company in South America, which is mysteriously sealed off at the beginning of a work day and its employees are ordered to kill each other or be killed themselves. This starts an escalation of violence, wherein we discover the true nature of each and every Belko employee.
Production on The Belko Experiment gets underway this June in Bogota, Colombia. For more, see our gallery below with announced cast and their character info.

The Belko Experiment #1
Adria Arjona
Adria Arjona will be playing one of the most pivotal characters in the film, Leandra Jerez, an American of Colombian descent who works as Barry Norris's Chief Executive Assistant.
-
The Belko Experiment #2
Owain Yeoman
Owain will be playing Terry Winters, a British family man, whose relationship to his family at home versus the close friendships he has in Belko are set against each other.
-
The Belko Experiment #3
Sean Gunn
Marty Espenscheid, a stoner cafeteria worker who has his own ideas about who is behind Belko.
-
The Belko Experiment #4
Steve Agee
In the film Marty's best friend is Chet Valincourt, played by Steve Agee.
-
The Belko Experiment #5
Michael Rooker
Rooker plays Bud Melks, the head of maintenance in the Belko building. He's not a racist thug like Merle in The Walking Dead, and he doesn't have a flying arrow like Yondu in Guardians of the Galaxy - in fact, he's a pretty nice guy - so he's ill-equipped to deal with the mysterious forces who start making all of the employees in Belko start killing each other unless they want to be killed themselves.
-
The Belko Experiment #6
John C McGinley
John will play Wendell Dukes, one of the top execs at Belko, and longtime friends with Tony Goldwyn's character, Barry Norris. Wendell is a bit socially awkward, and has never been at home with the other employees at Belko... I'm not sure his social problems will be eased much when mysterious forces start compelling them to kill one another or be killed.

The Belko Experiment #7
Melonie Diaz
Dany is the new girl at Belko. It's her first day working in the building, and she really couldn't have chosen a worst first day, since this is the day the employees are all forced to either kill each other or be killed. (When I was nineteen I worked at Denny's. On my first day the manager pressured me into trying a Moons Over My Hammy. That was pretty bad, but not as bad as this.)
-
The Belko Experiment #8
Tony Goldwyn
Tony will play Barry Norris. Norris is a guy who is used to being in charge at the Belko Building in South America, so it isn't easy for him to start taking orders when the office employees are mysteriously forced to either start killing each other or be killed.
-
The Belko Experiment #9
John Gallagher Jr.
John will play Mike Pelk, one of the leads of our film The Belko Experiment.
