If like me, you can’t have one, pore over the many stunners in the collection of FX wizard Rick Baker that are up for auction this weekend.

The Rick Baker: Monster Maker auction at Prop Store gets underway this Friday, May 29 and serves as an envy generator, yes, but also a spectacle of cinema makeup history and how much Baker has contributed and influenced over the years. From horror masterworks like An American Werewolf in London and Gremlins, to his work with Eddie Murphy, to Michael Jackson’s Thriller, to Harry and the Hendersons and Planet of the Apes. There’s even a maquette from an unproduced Gargoyles film, based on the animated series.
