Psycho Killer, the masked murderer movie from Se7en writer Andrew Kevin Walker will be financed and produced by K5 International and directed by producer and filmmaker Gavin Polone (TV’s Twisted)
Polone, a producer on the Walker-scripted 8MM, will direct the film about “a nameless murderer, wearing a nightmarish mask, who stalks his way across the US, leaving a long trail of random victims left in bloody tribute to Satan,” reports Screen Daily. The synopsis continues, “A chance encounter with a highway patrolman on a Kansas highway ends tragically, but this time there is a witness; the patrolmans wife, Jane, a fellow police officer. Jane, who has just discovered she is pregnant, sets out to seek vengeance.”
Psycho Killer has been a long-gestating project with Polone involved at least since Eli Roth was set to produce in 2010. [Screen Daily]
