Kino Lorbers Studio Classics label has announced the first Blu-ray releases for two 60s era Roger Corman-directed, Ray Milland-starring AIP productions, The Premature Burial and X: The Man With the X-Ray Eyes.
The former, 1962s Premature Burial is the only Roger Corman-directed Edgar Allan Poe adaptation to not star Vincent Price. X meanwhile is a cult favorite starring Milland as the title doctor who tests a formula for X-ray vision on himself. Both films previously saw release in MGMs eight-film Roger Corman collection (Premature Burial was also released alongside Masque of the Red Death on one of the MGM Midnite discs), but both the Blu presentation, as well as new special features, should interest fans and collectors.
