First Look: Doom-Head in Rob Zombie’s 31

Production is currently underway on Rob Zombie’s 31, a period era, Halloween set horror about a brutal structure called Murder World and those who inhabit it. Though Zombie has shared plenty from the film so far, including production and concept art and cast updates, today brings the first official look at the film itself, a still of star Richard Brake as “deadliest man alive,” Doom-Head.

Starring Malcolm McDowell as the owner of Murder World, 31 sees “five random people kidnapped on the five days leading up to Halloween and held hostage. While trapped inside this man-made Hell they must fight to survive playing the most violent game known to man… a game called 31.”

31 the game seems to be of the Most Dangerous variety as the hostages fend off all manner of costumed creatures and killers. Brake joins the recently announced Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs as “Panda,” Lords of Salem’s Judy Geeson as “Sister Dragon,” The Devil’s Rejects’ EG Daily as “Sex-Head,” Daniel Roebuck as “Pastor Victor” and Torsten Voges as “Death-Head.” Also new to the cast are Jeffrey Daniel Phillips as Roscoe, Jane Carr as Sister Serpent (“a wicked cross of Satan meets Mother Goose”) and Pancho Moler as Sick-Head.
