Joe Lynch’s Everly Hits the Vineland Drive-in

Joe Lynch’s Everly, the Salma Hayek-starring actioner is receiving a special, massively appropriate opening night event at Californa’s Vineland Drive-in. An unapologetic bloodbath in the tradition of B-movie violence, Imported Japanese madness and indie bravado, Everly deserves a drive-in as much as a drive-in deserves Everly.

Everly hits limited theatrical release Friday, February 27th. That night, an opening celebration with cast & crew in attendance will take place at the Vineland Drive-in (443 Vineland Ave, City of Industry, CA 91746) at 7 p.m. Director Lynch, co-stars Akie Kotabe, Jenn Blanc-Biehn, Director of Photography Steve Gainer and more will be on hand for a Q&A and “surprises.”

“Showing Everly, which was borne of my love for those crazy genre flicks I grew up with as a kid, at the Drive In is a dream come true for me” says Lynch. “This is the perfect movie for the Drive In, so we embraced the idea of showing the film in a more unconventional arena to give audiences the rare opportunity to remember what it’s like to see a crazy fun movie like this in the right setting. Being able to show movies in this way under the stars is quickly becoming history so we wanted seize the opportunity, give folks a fun night out and hopefully expose some audiences to the Vineland.”

Elsewhere, you can catch Everly at the following theaters this Friday. The film is also now available on VOD and digital platforms. It’s a brazen, weird, bloody piece of work. See a new, NSFW remix trailer, below.
