VICE, who teamed with Kino Lorber on the release of Ana Lily Amirpour’s breakthrough, fantastic debut A Girl Walks Home Alone at Night is now partnering with Megan Ellison and her celebrated Annapurna Pictures to produce the filmmaker’s follow-up, The Bad Batch.
Southern-set and dystopian, The Bad Batch has previously been described by Amirpour as a post-apocalyptic cannibal love story set in a Texas wasteland.” Of the plot, she later added, “A muscled cannibal breaks the rule dont play with your food. Its Road Warrior meets Pretty in Pink with a dope soundtrack.”
