Precious and The Paperboy‘s Lee Daniels is set to direct Demon House for Relativity, reports Deadline. The company has been in development on the project since 2011 when it bought the life rights to Latoya Ammons.
Ammons and her experience with the supernatural is the inspiration behind Demon House. Reportedly, she and her sons have experienced countless possessions and have had numerous exorcisms performed over the last two years. Check out the video below which goes into a bit more detail.
Relativity will finance and distribute the film.
