Clown began as a fake trailer directed by Jon Watts. The trailer garnered Eli Roth’s attention. He loved it and came on board to shepherd the feature film as a producer. Watts directed the feature and Robot and Frank scribe Christopher D. Ford provided the script.
In Clown, a man dresses up as a clown for a birthday celebration and slowly transforms into something hideous.
The poster says Clown is getting an international release next month. Be jealous. Apparently the film is housed domestically at Dimension, so who knows when we’ll see it in the U.S.?
