Paul will play Louis Draxs father, Peter, who becomes the target of a criminal investigation when his son suffers a near fatal accident.
The feature screenplay, based on Liz Jensens best-selling novel of the same title, was written by Max Minghella.
The story begins on Louis Draxs 9th birthday, when he suffers a near-fatal fall. In order to reveal the strange circumstances surrounding the young boys accident Dr. Allan Pascal (Jamie Dornan) is drawn into a thrilling mystery, testing the boundaries of fantasy and reality.
Shooting is underway on the film.
In other casting news, Newsroom‘s John Gallagher, Jr. will star alongside Mary Elizabeth Windstead and John Goodman. Directed by Dan Trachtenberg, the film is a Bad Robot production.

The majority of the movie takes place in an underground cellar and revolves around a young woman who wakes up after a severe car accident and fears she has been abducted. Her captor, a doomsday prepper, tells her he saved her life and that there has been a terrible chemical attack that has left the outside uninhabitable. As tensions rise, she decides she must escape regardless of the terrors that await outside.
