Horns is based on the novel by Joe Hill and follows Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe), a young man who awakens one morning to discover horns have sprouted from his head. These aren’t just peculiar new body accessories, though. Ig has been given new supernatural abilities as well. He sets out on a journey to solve a mystery that involves his girlfriend’s death.
I really enjoyed the Horns novel (as well as Hill’s “Heart-Shaped Box” which should be getting an adaptation, damn it) and I think it’s going to make for a really bizarre, original film. Alexandre Aja (High Tension, The Hills Have Eyes) is the director of this adaptation (produced by Red Granite Pictures). Needless to say, I’m very excited to see his return to the big screen. Juno Temple, James Remor, David Morse, Max Minghella and Joe Anderson also star.
