The first is the Mac Carter-directed Haunt, released by IFC. The film tells the story of a family that moves into a new home with a dark past. When their son becomes involved with a beautiful girl next door, and together they begin to explore their sexual awakening, they unwittingly invoke an alternative dimension of the house.
Next up, the acclaimed Jug Face (review). Written and directed by Chad Crawford Kinkle, Jug Face is the dark story of a demonic power worshipped by an isolated rural community. The monster offers health and protection in exchange for human sacrifices, identified when their faces materialize on ceramic jugs fabricated by an entranced potter. Bloody chaos ensues when the newest victim is hidden from the monster.
