“It’s still early. The trades made a mistake. It’s a little early,” he told Shock when we spoke with the writer/actor during an interview of Late Phases. The bottom line? Stake Land: The Series is merely being packaged and fleshed out, then it will venture out to find a home. Fans of the feature film seem to have responded positively to the series news, but will a network?
“I’ll pen it. It’s what I do,” Damici continued. “And like what’s out there, it’ll be set seven years after the film and hopefully we’ll have the same people back. You never know. Maybe flying vampires.”
