Edwards, as you know, directed the indie film Monsters and he has been at work on Godzilla for quite some time. Bryan Cranston leads the cast which also includes Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Ken Watanabe, Elizabeth Olsen, Juliette Binoche and David Strathairn.
I hate to keep recycling the same plot crunch they’ve given us, but this is all we’ve got to go on story-wise, just let the trailer do the talking: The film pits the world’s most famous monster against malevolent creatures who, bolstered by humanity’s scientific arrogance, threaten our very existence.
