Walking Dead head honcho Robert Kirkman spoke with Wired about the possibility of a crossover.
“That door is always open for us, though whether or not we step through it remains a big question, Scott Gimple, our showrunner, is certainly a huge fan of that game series as well and very familiar with it,” he said.
Earlier this season, Michonne said that she was planning a trip to Macon, home of Walking Dead Video Game protagonist Lee Everett.
“That was a little nod to those fans, to let them know that we’re aware of the greater Walking Dead universe,” said Kirkman. “It’s always fun to come up with those little things.”
We’ll have to wait and see how this all pans out nut for fans hoping for a shared universe, it could be closer than you think.
