No, the film isn’t a spin-off of Disney’s beloved blue creature “Stitch.” Instead the film follows the story of grieving parents Marsden (Edward Furlong) and Serafina (Shawna Waldron) as they cope with the loss of their young daughter. At the height of their desperation, they turn to their best friends Pirino (Laurence Mason) and Colline (Shirly Brener) for healing advice. Their well-meaning friends lead them into the deep desert for a weekend ritual meant to burn away emotional baggage. Unfortunately, the amateur ritual goes awry and cosmic forces are unleashed.
A freak electrical storm traps the two couples in an abandoned desert house. Cut off from the outside world, they discover something even more sinister inside the house. Something, or someone, attacks – ravaging each person with a progression of gruesome, medieval surgical scars. The stitches tell a story pointing to a deeper mystery. As the stitches rip skin and tear apart relationships, a battle for survival ensues, forcing the couples to come to terms with loss, betrayal, love and hope. Who, if any, will survive to solve the supernatural riddle and unmask the demonic force?
