DAYZ is that game for the New Year. Early speculation predicted that the early access being granted would appeal only? to hardcore fans because of its limited features. Well, not so much. The game has been open for 12 plus hours and has already logged in over 88,000 unique players! Not only that, but its already broken into the top 10 most played! Take that big boys! DAYZ takes place in a Post-Soviet state after a zombie apocalypse. Players must scavenge for guns, survival gear, food and medical supplies, all while battling the undead. One of the biggest selling features is the player interaction. You can choose to join other players (if they’ll have you), or avoid them. Diseases run rampant and also threaten to take down your character.
