Here's something you didn't see coming: A series that might live at History that concerns Jesus Christ's days as a young adult. Here's the added goodness: It's being developed by Eli Roth and Eric Newman and written by Scott Kosar.
Deadline adds that the series will "explore Jesus' origins as an exorcist."
Roth and Newman produced The Last Exorcism films together. Kosar's credits include The Machinist and The Amityville Horror remake.
History enjoyed some success with The Bible mini-series. This Christ series – entitled The Lost Years – sounds right up their alley, but – as Deadline points out – this will enjoy a modicum of controversy as well.
