Actor Wilmer Valderama took to Twitter to provide fans with a behind-the-scenes look at From Dusk Till Dawn: The Series. It’s the first photo from the set. Nothing special, to be honest, but something nonetheless. The pic confirms that Robert Rodriguez is indeed directing the pilot, too.
The series is based on the vampire-laden film franchise of the same name. Wilmer Valderrama stars alongside D.J. Cotrona who plays Seth Gecko, Zane Holtz as Richie Gecko; Jesse Garcia who plays Texas Ranger Freddie Gonzalez, a new character created for the series; Don Johnson who joins in a recurring role as Sheriff Earl McGraw; Robert Patrick as Jacob Fuller; Madison Davenport as Kate Fuller; Brandon Soo Hoo as Scott Fuller and Eiza González as Santánico Pandemonium.The series will kick off in 2014 and live on the El Rey Network.
Robert Rodriguez is overseeing the ten-episode run of the series which will air on the El Rey Network.
