In the film, a team of astronauts discovers the “human” bodies of three beings. They bring these bodies back to earth only to realize they’re hibernating space vampires who wreak havoc on London.
Deadline reports Ringleader Studios picked up the rights to the ’70s novel with an aim to adapt it for the small screen. If the series flies, it will also be called Lifeforce.
The aim is to carry the property across various mediums like comices, videos games and more.
Now, the thing you need to realize is that this doesn’t necessarily mean a series is guaranteed. This is merely a “rights acquisition” announcement. Ringleader will need to go through a few steps to bring a show to television.
