Around this time next year, we were going to see both Dracula Untold (opening October 6th) and Frankenstein (opening October 17th) hit theaters. A good ol’ Dracula versus Frankenstein smackdown. 20th Century Fox is preventing that from happening now, unfortunately.
The studio is distancing Frankenstein from Universal’s Dracula Untold and now releasing the film January 6, 2015.
Directed by Paul McGuigan and scripted by Max Landis, Frankenstein is a period tale told from Igor’s perspective.
James McAvoy, Daniel Radcliffe and Jessica Brown Findlay star.
