The sequel picks up immediately where the first film left off and follows the haunted Lambert family as they seek to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world. From director James Wan, the September 13 release stars Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Barbara Hershey, Lin Shaye, Leigh Whannell, Angus Sampson, Ty Simpkins, Joceline Donahue, and Steve Coulter.
