Corman embraced Poe early in his career, often with Vincent Price. The Hollywood Reporter says House of Usher, The Pit and the Pendulum, Premature Burial, Tales of Terror, The Raven, The Haunted Palace, The Masque of the Red Death and The Tomb of Ligeia are all on the remake slab.
Now being able to do them in 3D and with a lot of computer graphics, we can do things we never dreamed of doing before, Corman told THR.
Budgets will range from $2 – 2.5 million – considerably higher than what the original adaptations went for.
