The film tells the cautionary tale of Sadie and Kevin (AnnaLynne McCord and Billy Zane), a couple who decide to spend a romantic weekend together at his lake house. But when an unexpected text from her best friend, Jennifer (Viva Bianca), to Kevin, reveals a lurid love affair between the two people closest to her, Sadie becomes a woman scorned and hell bent on revenge.
“Having done horror with comedy, I wanted to delve into something more sophisticated along the lines of Fatal Attraction and Misery,” says Jones, “and develop a multi-dimensional, twisted character in our lead villain (Annalynne McCord), who I feel brings an original and incredibly unique take on her character.”
