The film has been a huge hit overseas, grossing big bucks in various territories, apparently, so that has made Arclight Films confident to greenlight a sequel, says Twitch. It’s way too early right now to reveal the creative team involved.
The original concerned a seaside town in Australia which is hit by a tsunami. Said disaster washes two great white sharks into a supermarket where a group of people are trapped. I wonder if the sequel will still focus on sharks or move on to another type of predator.
