Peter Facinelli, Sophia Myles and Nathalia Ramos will star in the horror film Gallows Hill. Victor Garcia is directing for David Higgins, Peter Block and Andrea Chung. Thirteen Ghosts scribe Richard D’Ovidio penned the script based on an idea he cooked up with Higgins.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, the story “follows an American (Facinelli), widowed from his Colombia-born wife, who flies to Bogota with his new fiancée (Myles) to retrieve his rebellious teenage daughter Jill (Ramos). After a car accident leaves them stranded in a rundown isolated inn, they discover the old innkeeper has locked a young girl in the basement and their decision to set her free has unintended consequences.”
Facinelli is presently a Twilight series vet and Myles co-starred in Underworld. Shooting begins this month in Colombia.
Garcia previously directed Return to House on Haunted Hill and Hellraiser: Revelations.
