Ryan Phillippe is teaming up with Twisted Pictures (SAW) for the thriller Shreveport, which Phillippe will direct. Phillippe is set to play a fading film star shooting a low-budget film who is kidnapped, held hostage and tortured.
Joe Gossett penned the script, says Variety; Holly Wiersma and Mark Burg will produce.
Shooting begins this summer.
