Now, this sounds unlike anything zombie-related that we’ve reported on or even heard about in the past decade. I’ve seen weird zombie comics, even read zombie stories that are gender exclusive, but this sounds Garth Ennis-style nuts. Not only does it seem like we’re going to get some absolutely balls to the wall awesome gore it seems like the comic will have a really tongue-in-cheek nature to it and not take itself too seriously.
The art does seem a little different for the type of story. Or maybe that’s going with part of the aesthetic they’re going for? Make it look cartoon but have the main character one part Tank Girl and one part Lisbeth Salandar and throw her into an apocalypse with all female zombies and all male survivors. This looks like the exact kind of crazy awesome book that genre fans live for, also look for the Halloween reference on the very first page.
