Stranded on an island with the undead
An array of Canadian acting talent – most budding horror vets – are joining the cast of 13 Eerie.
Ginger Snaps‘ Katharine Isabelle, Michael Shanks (Red Riding Hood), Brendan Fletcher (pictured, Freddy vs. Jason), the UK’s Nick Moran (Harry Potter) and Brendan Fehr (Final Destination) are all on board the zombie film directed by Lowell Dean (not Roger Christian as previously reported).
Don Carmody is producing, he’s been behind the Silent Hill and Resident Evil films.
In 13 Eerie, six ambitious forensic undergrads are marooned on a remote island during a university field project. Unbeknownst to the group, the site was formerly used as an illegal biological testing ground for life-term criminals left for dead. But they aren’t. They’re undead.
Says Carmody: “”Audiences will want to avoid dimly lit pathways on their way home from the theatre after seeing 13 Eerie. This isn’t your everyday reanimated corpse.”
