A supernatural mystery
Cory Goodman has a new script that was just picked up called Blackpine.
Strange Weather Films acquired the story and will produce the film in New Zealand.
Deadline says the story concerns a father who returns home from Afghanistan to raise his 12-year-old daughter in a small mining town. There, he uncovers a supernatural mystery.
Goodman’s other credits include Apollo 18 and the upcoming Last Witch Hunter. He was also attached to pen a remake of David Cronenberg’s The Brood.
